Subject: State of the University Gathering Sept. 19

I want to invite each of you to an important UT-wide event Tuesday, September 19.

All UT employees throughout the state will gather via simulcast for a state of the university celebration. There will be refreshments and door prizes such as athletic tickets and gift certificates.

I strongly believe that for this university to be successful, we all have to be part of a team working together. This statewide gathering will capture that spirit and vision. You’ll hear about the university-wide strategic plan, see our new branding campaign, and learn about other important developments that will impact UT’s future.

No matter where you work, come to the UT campus nearest you. The program will begin at 11 a.m. in Chattanooga and Knoxville and 10 a.m. at the other locations. Check your local campus Web site for location and details. I hope you’ll join us.
